REQUIREMENTS FOR ARMED FORCES NURSING SERVICES

The following schooling is necessary for women who wish to join the Pakistani Army's Armed Forces Nursing Services (AFNS):

1. The applicant must have a matriculation degree in science with a minimum grade point average of 60%.
2. The student must receive a score of at least 50% if she holds an FSc Pre-Medical degree.

Nurses who have received training may also join Pakistan and be appointed as lieutenants. They are required to complete the midwifery, BSc Generic Nursing, and Post (RN) BSc Nursing programmes as well as the nursing diploma programme.

Female students who have completed FSc Part 1 and are awaiting the results of Part 11 or who must take the Part 11 tests may also apply.
